Caitlin's Mini-Memoir:

Caitlin Mayernik (she/her/hers) is a New-York based multi-faceted entertainment creator, collaborating on projects as a Director, Writer, Performer & Producer of Theatre, Film, & Arts Events. 

​

While in New York, Caitlin has directed new-work theatre scripts, developing productions of plays and musicals at The Tank Theatre, The Brick Theatre in Williamsburg, and with First Kiss Theatre. Caitlin has spent time on a variety of film sets as Production Coordinator, Production Assistant, Performer, and Director. 

​

Caitlin began her professional producing career at Sesame Workshop in New York City, where she collaborated on building entertainment events & productions within the Non-Profit. Previous to Sesame, Caitlin was with The LA Writers Center, where she produced international new-work theatre scripts while social media managing for the center, and led festival panel programming with The 60th Ann Arbor Experimental Film Festival. In the film world, Caitlin has collaborated as a documentary production coordinator, and production assistant for feature films, commercial shoots, and online scripted content. Currently, Caitlin is an Associate with Special Events at The Solomon R Guggenheim Museum in NYC, where she collaborates on production for a variety of large-scale arts, film, fashion, and theatre experiences.

Caitlin is originally from Detroit, MI and received her BFA in Theatre Arts from Point Park University, where she co-founded The Pittsburgh Playhouse's new-work theatre development company, & served on The Pittsburgh Playhouse's Accessibility & Inclusion committee, creating equitable, accessible theatre performances for audiences & performers.

Outside of her professional life, Caitlin loves traveling and has backpacked four continents, enjoys reading nonfiction memoirs, painting, and spends her time with her sidekick dog, Basil.
